Anna Wang

Please introduce yourself!

I started gymnastics at the age of 5 in China where I trained for 3 years before I moved to the United States. After developing a strong passion for the sport, I decided to continue gymnastics here in the U.S. I've trained at multiple gyms, but by far my favorite has been Bay Aerials Gymnastics, where I competed as a level five gymnast! I have teaching experience primarily with kids ages 4-10 as I have volunteered at multiple summer school programs.

My favorite part about working with kids is how innovative and creative their young minds are. They are always happy to learn new things and pick up skills really quickly. My favorite part about gymnastics/ninja zone is the artistry and elegance of the sports. Additionally, they help to build strong camaraderies, establish great mental focus and strength, and are a great form of exercise.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
In the future I aspire to be a nurse or a teacher because I want to have a positive impact on peoples lives.

If you could have one superpower what would it be?
If given the ability to choose any superpower, I would want the power to heal pain. Having the power to heal would give me the ability to ease pain and finally put an end to serious illnesses.

Share one thing that people at Bay Aerials don't know about you!
Two fun facts about me are that I grew up in Beijing, China (moved here at age 8) and I have a brother who is 15 years older than me.
